The week before I ventured off to the Photographer’s Mecca I had a valentine mini shoot.  I’ve decided to have a little contest.  While I was in Nashville I won a 16×20 canvas.  I’m going to give it away to one of the Valentine Mini participants.  Here are the rules:

1. You may only vote ONCE on each network the pic is placed.  So that means you get ONE vote for commenting on the blog and ONE vote for commenting on Facebook.
2. The winner will be chosen randomly.  That means I print up the votes and have one of my precious children pull a letter out of a hat.
3. Voting starts immediately. So tell all your friends and family.  The winner will be picked on Jan. 20th

So y’all get to voting on which image you like best.  They are lettered (A, B, C you get the picture).  Please leave a letter comment i.e. OMGosh “A” is like the most awesome picture I’ve ever seen.  So on and so forth.  If you are not a friend on Facebook ask me & I’ll approve so you can vote.

I had the craziest week y’all! I attended Imaging USA in Nashville, TN.  It was chockfull of knowledge, vendors and FREEBIES.  I attended so many classes I swear you can smell my brain smoking from the knowledge overload.  I’m already planning to attend Imaging 2011 in San Antonio (Jan. 16-18 I think?).  If you are a photographer you should seriously consider going.  Also if you’re a member of the PPA you get awesome discounts.  Plus you’ll see me there, I know how could you miss that!?!  It’s also great to connect.  I met some old friends that I hadn’t seen in over a year and also made new friends.  I even stalked some of the big named photogs (see below).  There’s also some crazy iPhone pics in the mix.  It was a 10 hour drive. Cabin fever cannot be avoided.

Had a shoot a couple of weeks ago.  I was lucky enough to have a friend let us use her farm.  No big deal right? WRONG she owns a Zebra! Cutest thing you ever did see.  Doesn’t matter how many times I see him it’s like meeting for the first time :0) Here’s a couple of pictures of the kids from that shoot.

We then ventured to downtown historic Sanford.  It’s so beautiful down there.  I managed to snap a pic of my just turned 6 yr old.

I’ve been a bad bad photog blogger.  However, I’ve got some new things to make up for it.  I’m getting ready to change my logo and branding.  It’s gonna be super sweet.  So hopefully my next post will be about my brand spankin’ new logo.  Until then here some products I’m offering.  Picture this sweetness:

The cold has finally broken and the toddler & I took a trip to Pappy’s U-Pick Strawberry Patch, located in Ovideo (you should totally go give them a call to see if the patch is open 407-366-8512).  It was a bunch of fun and only ended up costing me $5. Win/Win in my book!  Of course I did most of the picking while “A” practiced jumping over the rows of strawberries and threw sand.

We met up with another photographer and we tried to get pictures of our kids.  Please note they are photographer’s children so no smiles will be seen in the following images :0)

I’m testing out a new widget for Peachpit. Hopefully I’ve done right! You can enter books/ebooks with their ESBN number and have them displayed on your website or social networking site. So super nice friends/family will actually buy you the books you want ;0)

A little George Michael for ya. Why you ask? Because I checked my mail on Saturday and what did I see!?!  A supercoolawesomefunky camera neck strap from My Funky Camera.  Two birds makin’ out hot off the sewing machine.  I won mine in a contest that she had on Twitter.  Haven’t signed up yet? You totally should, nothing relieves stress like reading other people’s rants and snarky comments.

I’m trying something new.  Portraits that I’ve taken that have had a bit of…um..ahem…*work* done on them, I’m going to hold a contest.  A contest to figure out what I’ve done to enhance them. 

I’ll take up to 5 winners.  The winners will be awarded with $100 off their session fee and 25% off additional purchases.  So get your eyeballs ready and keep your chin up! There are 2 adjustments done to the following image.  I’ll give 2 clues, it’s only the mom in the picture and nothing to do with color.

I rawked out another senior session this weekend.  It was soooo much fun, of course Grace prolly thinks I’m a total dork and directionally challenged.   I really let my true colors shine through.  She’s a dancer (yay!) and an NYU hopeful, so cross your fingers for her.

Of course being a dancer I had to make her jump around.  The local bikers were entertained and a bit impressed too.
