I do believe my eyeballs are melting from staring at the monitor for so long.  Been trying to think up some new ideas for my senior reps.  I still have a few spots open (especially for guys, what’s with that?) so contact me if you’re interested in being a Senior High School Representative for my work.  It’s not hard work and I promise not to schedule anything before 2pm in the afternoon, so you don’t even have to get up early.  Here’s design one, lemme know your thoughts or wants!

We sure did!  We spent a couple hours at the pool.  Got the ribs in the oven. Took some naps. Ate the fall off the bone ribs.  Had some icecream then set off some fireworks.  There was only one minor incident with a sparkler and some Crazyman hair.  All in all we had a blast and HP asked to do it again tomorrow!

HP didn’t like the noises from the fireworks so he spectated from inside.

Many of my friends and family members don’t believe the hubs and I when we say Aiden is a crazyman.  He really is, just so happens they catch him when he’s just gotten up from a nap and still disoriented.  Take for example this evening….Dinner was cut short because he felt he needed to throw his spaghetti into my lap and shake all the juice out of his sippy.  Bath time too was cut short, his shenanigans of trying to play submarine caused him to drink an abnormal amount of soapy bathwater (please see picture)

After coughing up enough water to refill the tub to a respectable level he and his brother taunted me with raspberries:

Oooh but it didn’t end there.  That would be too easy.  Unfortunately Pink Eye has run rampant thru the kids- first Hunter and now Crazyman. Despite my best efforts of washing the sheets in scalding hot water everyday and lysoling every surface in house (including the couch and recliner).  I’m sure Crazyman picked it up that day he poked HP in the eye for no good reason.  Sooo I have to wrap him in a towel pin him down and try to squeeze one drop (of eye melting acid I can only guess from his reaction) into each eye.  Truthfully I’d rather give a rabid cat a bath.

Fast forward, I’m diligently scrubbing the (spaghetti) off the kitchen floor with a Mr. Clean Eraser (awesome!) and I hear Crazyman wander into the kitchen.  I think nothing of it, for about 2 seconds, he’s quiet.  I peek around the cabinet and he’s got a bottle of Windex.  His shirt is blue his eyes are red.  he greets my jaw drop with a quiet “Uh Oh” and pushes the bottle towards me. No crying or fussing.  *sigh* Quick call to poison control and an eye-cleaning.  I’m now contemplating putting the Pink Eye drops in a Windex bottle. He’s fine.  Looks like he smoked crack, but he’s fine.  So fine that he could be found shortly later on top of the glass coffee table licking it.  Only thing I can figure is that there was some residual Windex from earlier.

Why didn’t I just get a puppy?

I’ve been away for a while, but now I’m back!  I had a super busy week last week.  Saturday through Thursday I was commissioned to take photos of the great Tennis athletes for the 2008 Junior State Closed Tennis Tournament (held in Altamonte Springs).  Over the six days I was there I took over a thousand photos and somehow managed to whittle them down to 500ish.  It was hot hard work but great to see the kids in action.

I also got an early morning text message from a maternity client that they delivered a bouncing baby boy this past Thursday.  So I had the extreme pleasure of being able to photograph the little guy in the hospital.  It was awesome to say the least.  I can’t wait for the newborn home pictures (they created a great living space for the little guy).  Until then please enjoy a few snaps of the hours old sweetie pie.

Playing catch up now.  We had a short, but great vacation to Nick Studios this past weekend.  I’ve finally gotten around to pulling the images off the camera.

Pregnant momma to be “M”, has a HUGE truck on HUGE wheels and was wearing really TALL shoes.  I was tempted to let her borrow my step ladder for safety’s sake.  Seems everything’s getting bigger these days cars, cameras but not her cute little belly!  I had fun today dispite how hot it got fairly early in the morning, I hope you guys didn’t mind trudging around too much!  I hope you enjoy the pictures even more!

This is my favorite, too cute for words

Mine? Well, after picking HP up from school it gets a little hairy.
First I have to watch “Spiderman” drive around town…
[singlepic=94,320,240,,]

Then it’s naptime for crazyman….
[singlepic=95,320,240,,]

While he’s snoozing HP…I mean Spiderman helps me make Coconut Cupcakes with multi-colored sprinkles, they’re delish…
[singlepic=96,320,240,,]

Then we receive “Thank You” cards for a client. UPS guy thought our cupcakes were yummy too, Spiderman insisted that he eat one with Spongebob sprinkles.  Spiderman then helped me package the “Thank You”s.

Many hours later (bouncing, coloring, chasing and meltdowns too) we have dinner and get ready for bed.  Bathtime is crazyman’s favorite.  My favorite is seeing him walk down the hallway wrapped in a towel.

I hope your day was as enjoyable as mine :0)

That’s right gift certificates are hot off the press. Literally. UPS guy just dropped them off, I think I spooked him.  I was waiting at his door when he came from the back of the truck.  Sorry bout that UPS dude.

Anyhoo, I’ve got a special!  Purchase a gift certificate for your special sweetness *ahem, mom, sister, wife* for Mother’s Day, which by the by is Sunday May 11th and they’ll receive a FREE 11×14 print with their session when they use their gift certificate (restrictions apply, i.e. cannot be used with previous sessions).  Hurry hurry this offer ends on May 10th 2008, as I’ll be taking the day off on the 11th to celebrate with my little cupcakes.

Oooh Aaaah preeetttty!

Bogart is a harlequin Great Dane that we adopted about 2 years ago.  Not more than month owning him, he moved in with my parents next door.  I feel a bit abandoned.  Neither my children nor my dogs want to stay at my house.  I don’t understand.

Last week he was a bit under the weather so a trip to the vet was scheduled.  Not good news.  Bo was diagnosed with lung cancer.  Up until last weekend he bounded about with the energy and spryness of a two year old.  Now he lays on his dog bed moaning in discomfort.  After shelling out a small fortune on meds he now bounds about again with his stuffed cow in his mouth.  He won’t get better.  Right now it’s quality over quantity.  His quality is pretty good.  I’m sure it has something to do with the cheese, pork chops and other people food my mother puts his very expensive medicine in.  By the way, if you ever have a pet that needs medication try Wal-Mart.  I’m serious, most medications that you get from the vet will cost you around $80 for a month supply, but with Wal-Mart’s everyday low prices it could be $8.

This is the second Great Dane that I’ve owned that has developed cancer.  As much as I love them, I think I may be the Black Widow of the breed.
