They’re heeeeeeere!

That’s right gift certificates are hot off the press. Literally. UPS guy just dropped them off, I think I spooked him.  I was waiting at his door when he came from the back of the truck.  Sorry bout that UPS dude.

Anyhoo, I’ve got a special!  Purchase a gift certificate for your special sweetness *ahem, mom, sister, wife* for Mother’s Day, which by the by is Sunday May 11th and they’ll receive a FREE 11×14 print with their session when they use their gift certificate (restrictions apply, i.e. cannot be used with previous sessions).  Hurry hurry this offer ends on May 10th 2008, as I’ll be taking the day off on the 11th to celebrate with my little cupcakes.

Oooh Aaaah preeetttty!

“I love him!”

Is what his mommy says after every sentence.  After little “E”’s session I felt the same way!  He was super sweet and completely content to lay on the fuzzy rug and listen to the birds & the neighbor work on his car.  He was an excellent model for only being 7 days old!!!  I hope you enjoy the pictures!

I call this one half-baked

Bogart

[singlepic=27,320,240,,]

Bogart is a harlequin Great Dane that we adopted about 2 years ago.  Not more than month owning him, he moved in with my parents next door.  I feel a bit abandoned.  Neither my children nor my dogs want to stay at my house.  I don’t understand.

Last week he was a bit under the weather so a trip to the vet was scheduled.  Not good news.  Bo was diagnosed with lung cancer.  Up until last weekend he bounded about with the energy and spryness of a two year old.  Now he lays on his dog bed moaning in discomfort.  After shelling out a small fortune on meds he now bounds about again with his stuffed cow in his mouth.  He won’t get better.  Right now it’s quality over quantity.  His quality is pretty good.  I’m sure it has something to do with the cheese, pork chops and other people food my mother puts his very expensive medicine in.  By the way, if you ever have a pet that needs medication try Wal-Mart.  I’m serious, most medications that you get from the vet will cost you around $80 for a month supply, but with Wal-Mart’s everyday low prices it could be $8.

This is the second Great Dane that I’ve owned that has developed cancer.  As much as I love them, I think I may be the Black Widow of the breed.

You’ve got to be quick when the pot comes out, it’s like vultures on roadkill for the sausage and eggs- don’t worry I’m not forgettin’ them little red critters, they were just as valuable and don’t you forget when you eat’em you gots to suck the head for the good stuff mmmmmmyummm.  First batch I tried was great with a kick, second batch left my lips burnings for two days youch!!!  It was worth the burn.

[singlepic=17,320,240,,]Thanks to Les for the good times, great food (his pumpkin dessert roll is to die for) and a jammin’ band! I hope you enjoy a few pictures from that evening.
