Alison Waring: Photography Graphic Design

I cannot wait for September to get here!!! The 12th I’ll be leaving for Boston. I’m lucky enough to have a seat with The Secret Workshop, hosted by Cheryl Muhr. She’s awesome and taken all kinds of pics for various magazines. You should see a dramatic change in my style when I get back. Don’t worry it’ll still be me but better. I got my shirt today that I designed for the workshop. I’m meeting a bunch of other ladies at the airport, we’re going to try and find our way to the hotel- we have to take a bus then a shuttle. Hopefully we make it in one piece and hopefully they won’t see this picture and be horrified by my extreme dorkiness.

I’ll be back on the 14th (after a day trip in NY, IM me with ideas where to go, or not to go in NY) and will resume business as normal. I’ll have limited access to email but I will be checking periodically so don’t fret if you have a problem you can still reach me.

Originally that was the street leading out of our neighborhood. Now it’s the canal leading out of our neighborhood. We’re expecting 10 more inches of rain today, not total just today, as in addition to what we’ve already gotten. I’m calling the school now to let them know that HP will be a “Swimmer” today instead of a “Car Rider”.

I’ve been working like dawg!  Here’s yet another card for the senior rep division.  Don’t forget I’m still looking for reps, even if you not an ‘09 Senior you might know one so send them my way.  You’ll get a $35 print credit for referrals.

I do believe my eyeballs are melting from staring at the monitor for so long.  Been trying to think up some new ideas for my senior reps.  I still have a few spots open (especially for guys, what’s with that?) so contact me if you’re interested in being a Senior High School Representative for my work.  It’s not hard work and I promise not to schedule anything before 2pm in the afternoon, so you don’t even have to get up early.  Here’s design one, lemme know your thoughts or wants!

I’ve been working hard this week coming up with new designs.  Here’s one that can be adjusted to your taste.  Pictured is a baby announcement, but it can be changed to engagement, housewarming or just about anything you can think of.  There are 7 different colors to choose from too.  Drop me a line if there is something you’d like to see!

I have an earlier post about a “Senior Rep”.  What I’m looking for is a High School Senior (class of 09) to represent my photography.  It’s not hard work, you pose for a couple of pictures, and hand out some cards to your friends and family.

What you get for being my “Rep”:
Print Package: (1) 8×10 print, (2) 5×7’s, (8) Wallets plus 25% off any additonal prints or cards
Rep Cards: They’re kinda like business cards, but cool with your image and graduation date
Invitations: (1) Set of 25 flat cards which can be used as Grad party invites or Save the Date cards for your actual graduation date

I bought a wireless remote weeks ago and have been too busy to actually use it.  Today it rained and somehow I convinced the kids to take some self portraits with me.  Out of 200 shots I got 3 maybe 4 that are usable.  Aiden wasn’t a willing participant once I opened the front door for more light.  I do love what I did get makes it worth the pee on the floor (from Aiden).
