I’m trying something new. Portraits that I’ve taken that have had a bit of…um..ahem…*work* done on them, I’m going to hold a contest. A contest to figure out what I’ve done to enhance them.
I’ll take up to 5 winners. The winners will be awarded with $100 off their session fee and 25% off additional purchases. So get your eyeballs ready and keep your chin up! There are 2 adjustments done to the following image. I’ll give 2 clues, it’s only the mom in the picture and nothing to do with color.

Yesterday I quick family shoot with my niece and nephew. Sure they had school pictures done but they’re kinda “eh”. So we did a mini-shoot in the backyard. Nana was nice enough to be my backdrop holder. I got some cute pictures of the kids for their dad. He’s currently on his 5th (6th?) tour of Iraq with the Marines. I hope he enjoys the pictures and returns back safely! Semper Fi.

Something you just don’t hear enough anymore. I just attended a great webinar by HubSpot on maximizing the use of Twitter. I’ve been Twittering for a while now. I tend to mix business and pleasure. I had another high school senior shoot this weekend. This time with a boy/girlfriend couple. “D” had the prettiest watered down blue eyes I have ever seen. And they both were willing to cheese out for me. Which is awesome! I can’t wait to finish editing the rest of the images. Enjoy these sneak peeks until then!!
